The majority of women's clothing lines, including bridal collections, are based on a size 8 sample that is graded to create a full range of sizes. David's Bridal is different because we recognize that each size is different. Our fit is based on extensive research with thousands of real brides in every shape and size. For our Woman sizing, our fit model is size 18W and each pattern is adjusted according to our research using real customers' measurements. A-LINE
The A-line silhouette features a fitted bodice that gradually flares from the waist, creating a smooth, elongated line. A-line styles are flattering for all heights, shapes and sizes, as they miraculously help accent and create fabulous curves. A-line styles can be soft and fluid, or you may choose to enhance the shape and structure with the addition of a full slip.

This dress style features a bodice with a high waistline directly below the bust. HOW TO MEASURE
Measure with undergarments similar to those you will wear with your dress; do not measure over other clothing. Make sure the measuring tape is parallel to the floor and pulled evenly across the body with no slack. You may want to consider getting professionally measured, or use our How to Measure guide to measure yourself or work with our virtual stylist. Consult the Size Charts and Fit Guide to determine which size you should purchase.
Length from Hollow to Hem
Measure from the center of the collarbone (Hollow) to the dress hem. Note: The length is not measured starting from the garment neckline.
Bust
Measure across the back and fullest part of the bust (not under the bust).
Waist
Bend to one side to find the crease or natural waist. Measure across the narrowest part.
Hip
Standing with feet together, measure at the fullest part of the hip.
